Don’t get me wrong, I love Fall. Always loved it. Back-to-School (first for me, then for my son) meant buying new writing supplies. Still love buying new writing supplies. It’s also time to get out sweaters and scarves after sweating in 90-degree temperatures, and replacing the hibiscuses with pumpkins and chrysanthemums. Why We Talked About Quitting At A Writers Reunion
Writers sometimes need to get together with other writers to swap stories of the hardships of a writing life, and occasionally to celebrate a piece of good news about the latest WIP (work-in-progress.) This week, I got together with two compadres who I met several years ago at the Algonkian writers’ workshop in St. Augustine, Florida.

Looking At The Good, The Bad And The (Oh So) Ugly On July 4th
I went to a flower show in Westhampton, Long Island a few days ago. It was after a nice, leisurely lunch with my husband.
