If you think I am posting the photos below because it’s too hot to write an entire blog, or because I’m deep into my edits and revisions, and coming into the home stretch with Book 3, you’d be partly right on both counts. But it’s also because I want to share the explosion of color that’s suddenly on display everywhere I look outside my windows. Summer was a long time coming this year, but it’s finally arrived. And how!
The Rhododendron bloomed first
The Hydrangeas weren’t far behind
Then came the Impatiens
And the hanging plants
The Hibiscus are blooming now too
Gorgeous, aren’t they?
And, if anyone can identify the hanging plant (large photo #4) you won’t get a prize, but I’ll be very grateful!

Absolutely gorgeous. Except for the hibiscus and impatiens we don’t get those in S Fl. Of course the impatiens only survive in the winter here.
One expects gorgeous plants and blooms in Florida. In the NorthEast, not so much — especially after the long winter we just had. Thanks for reading Vickie.
